Nancy Betker awarded Standing Ovation Award from the Illinois Association for Behavioral Health

Ms. Nancy Betker, social worker at Hinsdale South, was awarded the Standing Ovation Award from the Illinois Association for Behavioral Health. Ms. Riley Blythe, representative from the Illinois Association for Behavioral Health, presented Ms. Betker with this honor.

Ms. Betker earned this honor for her outstanding work with District 86’s Operation Snowball program. Operation Snowball is an international program that “empowers student leaders through prevention education, community advocacy, and leadership development to create a positive impact” on their communities.

Ms. Betker retired this spring after 32 years of service in District 86.
