Sally Belter, World Languages teacher at Central, recently presented at the 2021 Fall Illinois Council on the Teaching of Foreign Language Conference. Her virtual presentation was titled “Interactive Google Slides and Sheets for the World Language Classroom.â€Â In her presentation, Ms. Belter shared strategies on creating engaging, visually appealing digital activities and assessments on Google Slides and Google Sheets. She also shared examples and taught teachers how to create interactive Google Slides for interpretive activities, self-checking Google Sheets for vocabulary and grammar practices, and digital versions of classic well-loved activities.
