HC FACS teacher Ms. Dawn Oler
Hinsdale Central Family And Consumer Sciences (FACS) teachers April McPhillips and Dawn Oler presented at the Illinois Association of Family and Consumer Sciences Institute Day on Friday, March 3rd. McPhillips presented “Trends in Interior Design and Fashion” along with a panel of other FACS teachers from the area. Oler’s presentation titled “Grow Your Own Education Pathway” discussed the successes of her Invitation to Teaching course in order to help others promote teaching as a profession through programming at the high school level. Oler also serves as the ILAFCS President.
