Dwayne Williams and Michelle Proutsos collaborate to help their students understand psychology in practice

HHSTA Members and Hinsdale South staff members Dwayne Williams and Michelle Proutsos collaborated in their roles as Interventionist and Psychology teacher to conduct a lesson with students on psychological approaches. Students were introduced to the seven modern psychological approaches and Mr. Williams shared how he uses a combination of Cognitive-Behavioral therapy with his students. Students were given the opportunity to reflect on their own thoughts, feelings, and behaviors as part of the discussion. This opportunity allowed students to learn more about psychology in practice and led to many students asking questions regarding work in the field of psychology.
