$3oo Raised to Connect Schools with Art

Sponsor and Hinsdale Central Spanish teacher Bianca Holland and the Hispanic Student Association/Spanish Club teamed up with the The Pulsera Project to raise $300.  The Pulsera Project is a nonprofit organization that educates, empowers, and connects Central American artists with students in more than 2,800 U.S. schools through the sale of colorful handwoven bracelets, or “pulseras” in Spanish.  The organization connects schools with art and compelling cultural education while employing nearly 200 artists and investing proceeds to create lasting changes in Central American communities.
